Practitioner Training Level 2
Learning to teach Children and Young Adults.
Following successful completion of the Foundation Level 1 training, those who wish to extend their understanding and knowledge can train to deliver a Peaceful Principles curriculum to children and young adults in their care. This course is suitable for those who work with students aged 7-18, elements of how best to differentiate for age and learning need are integrated into the course.
It is also possible to arrange a bespoke course for those who teach children younger than 7.
This highly interactive course will enable participants to deliver effective evidence-based Mindfulness & Resilience Psychology exercises to the young adults/children they work with.
This 16 hour course is usually delivered over 2 days in person, but can be delivered online if required.
Participants will:
Learn effective strategies to teach Mindfulness & Resilience Psychology to the young people in their care.
Explore possibilities for differentiation for the needs of students by their age and learning needs.
Practice teaching and leading key aspects of the sessions.
Gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of Resilience Psychology concepts.
Be given an online Curriculum & Resource Pack to support their teaching.
Consider best strategies for working with whole class, small group and one to one support.
