Practitioner Training Level 2

Learning to teach Children and Young Adults.

Following successful completion of the Foundation Level 1 training, those who wish to extend their understanding and knowledge can train to deliver a Peaceful Principles curriculum to children and young adults in their care. This course is suitable for those who work with students aged 7-18, elements of how best to differentiate for age and learning need are integrated into the course.

It is also possible to arrange a bespoke course for those who teach children younger than 7.

This highly interactive course will enable participants to deliver effective evidence-based Mindfulness & Resilience Psychology exercises to the young adults/children they work with.

This 16 hour course is usually delivered over 2 days in person, but can be delivered online if required.

Participants will:

  • Learn effective strategies to teach Mindfulness & Resilience Psychology to the young people in their care.

  • Explore possibilities for differentiation for the needs of students by their age and learning needs.

  • Practice teaching and leading key aspects of the sessions.

  • Gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of Resilience Psychology concepts.

  • Be given an online Curriculum & Resource Pack to support their teaching.

  • Consider best strategies for working with whole class, small group and one to one support.
